This annual event marks a national day of remembrance in Australia and New Zealand, which broadly commemorates all nationals of those countries who served and died in all wars and conflict. Whilst the Dawn Service is not ticketed, please contact us should you wish to obtain tickets for either or both ensuing events.

 

5.00: Dawn Service

New Zealand Memorial | Hyde Park Corner

The main service will take place at the New Zealand Memorial on Hyde Park Corner.  The service will be approximately 45 minutes in length and is open to the public.  Arrival from 4.00 is suggested.

 

11.00: Wreath Laying Ceremony and Parade

The Cenotaph | Whitehall | SW1

Following a march onto Whitehall, a requiem is read and at 11.00 the High Commissioners for New Zealand and Australia will lay the first wreaths. Arrival by 10.30 is recommended.  The service will conclude at approximately 11.15.

 

12.00: Service of Commemoration

Westminster Abbey | London | SW1P 3PA

The Service of Commemoration and Thanksgiving to mark ANZAC Day commences at 12.00.  Guests must be seated by 11.45.
